James is a true local having been born, raised and educated in Albury. The Veneris family is well known in local business and community circles with James's grandfather and father having operated businesses in Albury's main street for over 40 years from the 1940's until the late 1980's.

James came to real estate in the early 2000's from a background in property law and conveyancing. James is a well rounded individual who has tertiary qualifications in economics, accounting and law from Sydney University. Recently, James has further developed his academic background by completing a Masters degree in Applied Finance at Albury's Charles Sturt University in 2009. James was extremely proud to complete this degree and graduate in his home town. James also holds a TAFE Certificate IV in Property (Real Estate), a TAFE Certificate III in Mortgage Lending and a Certificate in MYOB 16.

James has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the areas of finance, property law and taxation and has the ability to turn sometimes complex issues into simple concepts for everyone to understand. This sets him apart from other real estate agents as a property advisor. Many clients have benefited from James's expertise on financial and legal issues in relation to property acquisitions, transactions and investments.

James sees the future role of the real estate professional as one who can combine the traditional role of promoting and marketing real estate services with a sound knowledge and understanding of the legal and financial aspects of acquiring and investing in real estate assets. This is somewhat akin to the role of financial planners who offer such a service in the area of financial assets.

Given this background, insight and purpose, James’s role within the firm is ideally suited towards property investment management, buyers advocacy and property consultancy. James takes these areas of real estate beyond the traditional role of the one dimensional property manager to that of a multi-faceted professional real estate advisor and planner.
